It is important to note that Biblical counseling is not a substitute for licensed mental health therapy or professional psychological, psychiatric, or medical treatment. The counselors on our platform are not licensed therapists and do not provide licensed mental health services such as diagnosing mental health conditions, prescribing medication, or offering clinical treatment. Instead, they offer support and inspiration from a Christian perspective to help individuals navigate life's challenges.

Participation in our platform is aligned with providing spiritual guidance, and all counselors are expected to comply with state regulations while offering services within the bounds of faith-based counseling.

Payment Process and Schedule:

Earn a steady income with our flexible subscription model! Counselors receive 80% of the session fee, with weekly payments deposited directly into your account.

Independent Contractor Status:

As an independent contractor, you are responsible for reporting your income and handling any applicable taxes.

Platform Fee:

The platform retains 20% of the session fee, which helps cover essential services:

• Marketing and client acquisition efforts to connect you with clients.
• Administrative support for scheduling, client management, and other necessary tasks.
• Payment processing, including covering fees like Shopify’s 3%.
• Ongoing platform maintenance to keep the website functional and user-friendly.

• Support discipleship and provide counsel for team growth and development.

After we review your application, the next step is to set up a video call to meet each other, discuss any questions, and ensure alignment in our shared mission. Following that, you’ll sign the agreement, which outlines the specific terms and conditions of your role as a Biblical counselor on the platform. The agreement includes:

• Your responsibilities in maintaining a professional and respectful presence on the platform
• Payment structure, including how and when you’ll be compensated
• Ethical conduct and confidentiality expectations
• Requirements for your counselor profile, including qualifications, experience, and engagement with clients
• Acknowledgment that you understand and agree to all terms outlined in the contract

By signing the agreement, you confirm your commitment to these terms and officially move forward with the onboarding process, enabling you to begin offering your services through the platform.

Once you proceed in the onboarding process, you’ll need to complete your counselor profile. Here are the steps involved:

1. Professional Photograph
Upload a high-definition portrait photo to help clients connect with you.

2. Video Introduction
Create a 2-minute video introducing yourself, sharing your passion for counseling, professional background, and any personal details that help clients feel more at ease.

3. About the Counselor Section
In this section, provide the following details:

• Share your professional background, personal journey, and what motivates your counseling practice.
• Provide five fun facts to help clients connect with you.
• List your areas of expertise.
• Specify the age groups you work.
• Identify any specific populations or demographics you specialize in.
• Describe your counseling approach.
• Mention any specific challenges you specialize in.
• Highlight your credentials, certifications, and educational background.

After setting up your profile, you’ll complete a brief onboarding process that includes:

• Platform Training: Learn how to navigate the platform, use secure messaging, manage your calendar, and schedule client sessions.
• Video Call Integration: Training on how to set up and conduct online sessions, ensuring smooth virtual counseling experiences.

Finally, we’ll test the system to ensure everything is working properly, so you’re ready to begin helping clients with confidence!

Clients find and book sessions with you through our platform in several ways:

• Client Outreach: We drive client outreach through paid ads, SEO, church outreach, and referrals
• Find You: Clients discover your profile, showcasing your calling, specialization, and availability
• Subscribe: Clients subscribe directly via your profile
• Book Sessions: Clients book sessions based on your calendar availability
• Message: Secure messaging allows clients to contact you before and during subscription or booking

Once you’ve completed the onboarding process, you’ll be able to start accepting clients immediately. Your profile will be live, and clients can schedule sessions with you based on your availability.
